Overview
Mera Peak stands at an impressive 6,476 meters, offering spectacular views of the world’s highest mountains, including Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu. This expedition begins in the bustling city of Kathmandu, where you’ll prepare for the trek and explore its cultural landmarks. A short flight to Lukla marks the start of your journey through the scenic Khumbu Valley. The trek takes you through remote villages, dense forests, and high-altitude passes, providing a rich cultural experience and ample time for acclimatization.
The climb itself is designed to be accessible yet challenging, perfect for those new to high-altitude mountaineering. You’ll receive training in essential climbing techniques and be supported by experienced guides throughout the ascent. The final push to the summit involves navigating snowfields and glaciers, rewarded by panoramic views of five of the world’s highest peaks.
