Ethos in action

We’ve got to know our partners in-country and they work with us to educate the expedition support teams, to find local community projects that need our of time and resources and to work out the best sustainable practices in each place to “tread lightly”.

At Impact Ascents, we call our approach YES.

Youth – if we can invest in young people and catch them early in their careers, we know that we’re making a positive difference for the future too.

Education – that might be in local mountain schools or at high altitude training camps. Wherever the education, we learn a lot from the people in country too.

Sustainability – from water carriers to human waste, there are ways of minimising impacts and we’re keen to explore best practice, share ideas from elsewhere and work out the solution that work in each location and community.
