Overview

The Annapurna I expedition is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for experienced mountaineers to tackle one of the most challenging peaks in the world. Starting in Kathmandu, climbers will prepare for the ascent with a series of briefings and gear checks before flying to Pokhara and driving to the trailhead. The trek to Base Camp takes climbers through a variety of landscapes, from lush forests to rugged mountain terrain, providing ample time for acclimatisation and rest.

Annapurna I, first summited in 1950, is renowned for its technical difficulties and objective hazards, including avalanches and crevasses. Our route follows the North Face, offering a challenging but rewarding climb with sections of rock and ice climbing. We will establish multiple high camps to ensure proper acclimatisation and safety. The summit push is a demanding endeavour, but the panoramic views from the top make the effort worthwhile.

Our experienced guides and Sherpas will support climbers throughout the expedition, providing expertise and ensuring the highest standards of safety. This expedition not only tests physical endurance but also offers cultural experiences as we interact with local communities and immerse ourselves in the rich traditions of Nepal.
