Overview

Our Gasherbrum I expedition is designed for experienced climbers who have previously tackled at least two 6,000m or 7,000m peaks, and one 8,000m peak. This 50-day journey begins in Islamabad, where you’ll meet our team and prepare for the adventure ahead. A short flight takes us to Skardu, the gateway to the Karakoram Range, followed by a scenic drive to Askole, the starting point of our trek.

The trek to Base Camp takes you through some of the most remote and stunning landscapes in Pakistan, including the majestic Baltoro Glacier. Each day involves challenging hikes, spectacular views, and gradual acclimatization to the high altitude. Upon reaching Base Camp, you’ll have time to rest and prepare for the climb ahead.

Our route to the summit follows the West Ridge, which involves technical rock and ice climbing. High camps are strategically placed to ensure proper acclimatization and safety. The summit push is a rigorous climb, but the reward is a breathtaking view from the top of one of the world’s highest peaks. After the summit, we will carefully descend back to Base Camp and eventually return to Islamabad.
